About the Awards

The Financial Markets Research Awards celebrate excellence in financial market research provided by banks, institutional brokers, investment managers and independent research houses.

Financial market firms that publish regular market research can make submissions across four category types for the research they provide to clients:

  • Equities
  • FX & Bonds
  • Commodities
  • Economics

Why apply?
Taking part in the awards will give firms and individual analysts the opportunity to be recognised globally for the quality of the research they produce, including to end-users such as investment managers, hedge funds and institutional investors.

Who can apply?
The awards are open to banks, institutional brokers, investment managers and independent research houses that provide regular financial market research to clients. There is no limit to the number of categories a company can enter.

How are submissions judged?
Awards categories are assessed by a panel of independent judges comprising financial market professionals, academics and independent experts. For each award category there will be a shortlist of nominees from which the judges then choose the winning entrant. The judges will be looking for outstanding merit in financial market research, strategy and commentary. Shortlisted companies will be announced in January 2023.

When are the winners announced?
Winners will be announced on 21 March 2024 at our awards dinner in central London.
